Remo Ponti, the artist who spoke to stones, spoke through them and in symbiosis with them, expressing his spirituality, his profound and simple sensitivity that made him a figure of great human and artistic prowess. Simple and pure, as a true artist is, unconstrained by the current pursuit of money or glory. He was conditioned only by his art, by his being Remo. An art that manifested itself spontaneously through him. "I don't even know how I do these things," he used to say. Now his works bear witness to him. The exhibition, organized by the Lester Foundation in collaboration with the Arte sul Serio Association of Albino and the Cooperativa di Città Alta of Bergamo, had this goal: to give voice to his works, to hear in them and from them the human strength of the person who brought them to life, of the person who exalted their strength, the mysteries that reside within them, through the marks left within them.
