An authentic way of making and spreading music, with a necessary focus on the present. This is the principle behind Entropia, a festival that brings together brilliant young artists united by the desire to bring their own vision of music and the concert experience, each with their own riches and unique characteristics.
From the extemporaneous improvisation of the Nuovi Orizzonti Ensemble (7 November 2025, Daniele Bonacina and Nicola Carrara ), which finds in the music of the Renaissance past the lymph to forge a lively and unique musical dialogue, to the original compositions of Jacopo Petrucci , combined with masterpieces by Luciano Berio and Gyorgy Ligeti , up to the young pianist and painter Amalia Castoldi who, together with Francesco Rota , will guide us through the creative process of her paintings through music; in all three events, the artists will lead us on a journey where mutual listening is everything, a journey capable of moving us deeply.

Francesco Rota.
Francesco Rota (Milano, 1990) è un compositore e sound designer che lavora al confine tra cinema, musica e arti visive. La sua ricerca attraversa linguaggi differenti – dalla scrittura di colonne sonore alla creazione di installazioni sonore, dalla regia del suono alla progettazione di eventi culturali – con un approccio che mette sempre al centro la dimensione narrativa. Formatosi tra l’Università di Milano (Informatica Musicale), il Conservatorio “G. Verdi”, la NAM e la Civica Scuola “Claudio Abbado”, Rota ha sviluppato un percorso che intreccia competenze tecniche e sensibilità artistica. Ha firmato musiche originali per film e cortometraggi indipendenti, tra cui Defectum (prodotto con il sostegno delle Film Commission Lombardia e Ticino), Il Paese che non c’è (con la partecipazione della rapper Beba) e Green Fashion Story, oltre a progetti selezionati in festival e residenze. Accanto alla musica, Rota ha maturato un’esperienza decennale nella direzione artistica e nella gestione di eventi internazionali. Dal 2016 è direttore creativo di Green Fashion Week, piattaforma che ha portato il tema della sostenibilità nel mondo della moda attraverso dieci edizioni globali, collaborazioni con oltre 400 brand e un pubblico stimato di 500 milioni di spettatori. Qui ha unito competenze di project management, relazioni istituzionali e comunicazione strategica, dialogando con istituzioni, VIP e media internazionali. Dal 2025 collabora con la Fondazione Tufano, contribuendo alla programmazione culturale nello spazio espositivo di Milano e alla residenza artistica di Pantelleria. In questo contesto esplora nuove forme di contaminazione tra musica, ospitalità e arti contemporanee, con l’idea di trasformare la produzione culturale in un’esperienza immersiva che unisce creatività e convivialità.
